AERIAL PHOTOS REVEAL SCOPE OF AREA PROJECTS
ANCRAM (N.Y.) -- A new online "slide show" by Friends of Hudson board member Barbara Docktor reveals the scope and cumulative impact of various existing and proposed industrial projects in the mid-Hudson Valley. Docktor, a professional photographer, has taken several flights on small aircraft in recent years, documenting the existing St. Lawrence Cement plant site in Catskill, the proposed SLC site in Hudson and Greenport, the Lafarge cement plant in Ravena-Coeymans, the Glens Falls-Lehigh slag cement operations in Cementon, and also the U.S. Generating plant in Athens.
